How to Submit Artwork

Customer provided artwork should follow the following guidelines:

Screen Printing

We accept only vectorized artwork or graphics. Vector graphics created with drawing programs like Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, or Macromedia Freehand consisting of points, paths, and color fills. Vector artwork creates an extremely sharp image and can be infinitely re-sized without resolution issues. Please note: desktop publishing, presentation, or spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Word, Works, Publisher, or Powerpoint do not provide suitable graphics for screen-printing.

Imprint size: adult 12” × 12”, youth 9” × 9”, breast area 4” × 4”, short sleeve area 3” × 3”, long sleeve 3” × 14”, oversize maximum is 20” × 24”. (oversize screens will incur additional fees)

Embroidery

Any file format listed above plus a .jpeg or .tiff file can be used to digitize logos for embroidery. Please remember just because you email us an image doesn’t mean that it is separated or ready to print, therefore, art charges may apply.

Artwork Proof Disclaimer

In order to keep your costs down and to insure that you receive your order on time we ask that you carefully read your proof, sign it, and return it as soon as possible. This proof is your responsibility and we must have the proof signed prior to starting production. Spikner Inc. will not be responsible, after the return of proofs with your signature, for any errors, emissions, etc., overlooked by the customer. Make sure all spelling, sizing and the colors you requested are correct. Allowance must be made for variation of colors.

By signing, all parties release Spikner Inc. from any liability for the repair or replacement of any merchandise that has been signed/approved which includes all associated services performed (screen-printing, embroidery, digital print, pad printing, etc.) in addition to artwork (i.e., color, size, and location). The party agrees that this shall be their sole responsibility to provide Spikner Inc. with correct colors, dimensions, locations, and any other services requested.
